POSITION
Senior Accountant

THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant is a key contributor in ensuring the Company’s financial statements are prepared accurately, timely and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

THE ESSENTIALS 
• Supports the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports and statements 
• Prepares journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for a variety of general ledger accounts (both   balance sheets and income statement) 
• Supports controller with monthly general ledger accounts analysis 
• Analyzes financial information applying accounting principles and procedures 
• Participates in documentation and monitoring of internal controls 
• Assists with annual audit 
• Supports the preparation of annual federal and state income tax return schedules 
• Participates in budgeting process with compilation, interpretation and preparation of financial forecasts 
• Assists with integration, development and testing of the Company’s internal reporting platform 
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement to maximize utilization of accounting software 

MUST HAVE 
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance 
• 4+ years of experience in Accounting 
• Advanced knowledge of all accounting functions and related internal controls including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and inventory 
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research technical issues 
• Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills 
• Strong ERP experience required. The Company currently uses EPICOR and is in the process of the integration/development   of a new Internal Reporting Platform. Experience with ERP implementation/testing (preferred) 
• CPA certification (preferred) 
• Experience in a public company environment and/or public accounting (preferred)

POSITION
Video Editor/Videographer
 
THE ROLE
The Video Editor/Videographer shoots and edits Jazzercise video and multimedia projects. This position is responsible for graphical elements associated with any video or multimedia project and for finalizing the completed projects onto the appropriate mediums. This position also provides creative input throughout the production and post-production process.
 
THE ESSENTIALS
Edits and shoots promotional, commercial and training material
Provides creative input and assists departments and outside clients in the completion of their projects
Manages lighting and audio set-up for video shoots
Manages post-production elements and materials for storage and archiving
Maintains editing and camera equipment
 
MUST HAVES
Bachelor’s Degree in Film and/or Video Production
3+ years of experience required 
Advanced knowledge of non-linear video editing techniques using Final Cut Pro 7
Advanced knowledge of video compression and DVD authoring techniques using DVD Studio Pro
Advanced knowledge of video file compression (Flash, YouTube, WMV, BrightCove)
Strong knowledge of graphic design and compositing techniques (Photoshop/After Effects)
Advanced knowledge of HD camera setup and operation
Strong knowledge of lighting techniques
Strong organizational skills for archiving of all project materials
Basic understanding of video engineering
Strong understanding of PC and Mac computer operation and troubleshooting
